Dreamatix – A Dream to create Drama through Green, Exhibition by ex. UNSW Student in New Delhi India

Dreamatix, founded by two young New Delhi based young Environmental Architects (Ar. Alankrita Soni, Masters of Built Environment in Sustainable Development from UNSW, 2009 – 2010 and Ar. Smita D Mehra, University of Sheffield) with a commitment to increase green design awareness and appreciation.

Those of us who are trained as designers have the dream and desire, perhaps at the very center of our lives to one day design something which is beautiful, breathtaking and is built straight out of our dreams. Dreamatix is an outcome of this long cherished dream that we have in our heart. As environment conscious and nature loving architects, we always wanted to take forward the learning’s from our post graduation degree and create something which is stunning yet sustainable.

We are pleased to inform you that we are organizing an Exhibition at the Open Palm Court, India Habitat Center, New Delhi from 23rd to 25th March 2013, to showcase some of our concepts. This exhibition hopes to increase green awareness and will be inaugurated by the eminent social activist Mrs. Nafisa Ali Sodhi.

Dreamatix aims at promoting green styling and aesthetics to evolve new fashion trends that draws inspiration from nature. We create pieces of Art, Sculpture, Furniture and Accessories out of found objects. We believe in re-using and re-creating before recycling to evolve products that are contemporary, trendy, fashionable yet functional and communicate a strong aesthetic appeal to one and all. Each product that we curate is representative of our underlying design philosophy. Our ability to provide products of this caliber begins with our attempt to interpret and understand natural forms.  We can transform any waste product into a beautiful piece of art that will be appreciated by everyone.

We cordially invite all UNSW Professor’s, fellow and friend to come and visit our exhibition. We also understand that UNSW actively support innovative work and therefore, we are writing this to respectfully request your consideration of support to help us in spreading our message of green design awareness to masses.

Please let us know if you need any further details. We look forward to hearing your favorable reply.

Have a good day.

Thanks and Regards
